  • Your questions: The divination questions you submit during a reading session.
  • Birth information (optional): Date and time of birth, which you may provide to receive a more personalized BaZi (Four Pillars) analysis.
  • Follow-up questions: Any additional questions you ask within an active reading session.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Log data: We may collect IP addresses, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, and pages visited. This data is processed by our hosting provider (Vercel) for security and performance monitoring.
  • Analytics data: We use privacy-friendly analytics tools to understand usage patterns such as page views, session duration, and feature usage. See Section 5 for details.

2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

  • We do not require account registration or login.
  • We do not collect email addresses, names, or payment information at this time.
  • We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes.
  • Reading session data is not permanently stored after the session ends.

3. How We Use Your Information

The information we collect is used solely to:

  • Generate your Qi Men Dun Jia reading and AI-powered interpretation.
  • Provide follow-up responses to your questions within the same session.
  • Improve the Service's accuracy, performance, and user experience.
  • Monitor for abuse, spam, or security threats.
  • Understand aggregate usage patterns through anonymized analytics.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. AI Interpretation Processing

When you submit a question, it is processed through our divination engine and then sent to an AI language model (hosted by Silicon Flow) to generate an interpretation. The question text and divination results are transmitted to the AI provider's API and processed in real-time.

We do not store your questions or AI interpretations after the session ends. However, the AI provider may process this data according to their own privacy policy. We encourage you to review Silicon Flow's Privacy Policy for more details.

Important: Do not include sensitive personal information (such as social security numbers, financial account details, or medical records) in your questions.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Vercel Inc. — Website hosting and deployment. Vercel processes server logs and may collect technical data. Vercel Privacy Policy
  • Silicon Flow — AI language model for generating interpretations. Your question text is sent to their API for processing. Silicon Flow Privacy Policy
  • PostHog / Vercel Analytics (if enabled) — Anonymized, privacy-friendly analytics. No personal data is collected; only aggregate usage statistics are tracked.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. The Site uses HTTPS encryption for all communications. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

Since we do not require user accounts or permanently store reading data, most of your information exists only during the active session. Once you close the browser or navigate away from the reading page, your session data is no longer accessible.

Anonymized analytics data may be retained for up to 12 months to help us understand usage trends.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), you may have the following rights:

  • The right to know what information we process about you.
  • The right to request deletion of any personal data we may hold.
